李昂然现任上海纽约大学社会学助理教授。加入上海纽约大学前,他曾任浙江大学社会学助理教授。从广义上来说,李教授的研究聚焦在社会、空间和时间背景下单独或共同导致父母养育方式和教育成果不平等的作用机制。他从比较的角度研究这些因素之间的联系如何在不同社会群体和国家背景下影响优势/劣势的代际传递。李教授的研究成果发表在《社会力量》(Social Forces)、《教育社会学》(Sociology of Education)、《社会科学研究》(Social Science Research)、《中国社会学评论》(Chinese Sociological Review)等知名期刊上。
